Spring is springing, things are greening.
Time for the Weaselhead’s annual cleaning!
You are invited to join our great crew of volunteers as we pick up assorted litter in one of Canada’s largest, most beautiful and diverse urban Natural Parks. We’ll meet in the NW corner of the Weaselhead parking lot, (66th avenue and 37th street SW) at 10 a.m., Sunday, May 15th. You’ll be provided with “litter-grabbers,” bags, a variety of healthy refreshments, and a chance to win Co-op gift cards as prize giveaways at noon, (generously supplied by the Oakridge Co-op.)
Appropriate foot gear and a hat is recommended. It’s basically a 90 minute walk in the park; an all-ages event, and groups are welcomed.
If you’d like to participate, please e-mail Paul Finkleman at: pastpresident@theweaselhead.com
Thanking you on behalf of the Weaselhead/Glenmore Park Preservation Society!
