Nocturnal Night Hike (Guided Hike)

Typically runs 7-9pm – timing can be adjusted

Learn all about nocturnal and diurnal creatures that call Calgary home, such as beavers, bats, owls, flying squirrels and more!

We will also discuss the importance that dark skies have on the plants and animals in an environment. We will provide information on what actions we, as a park, plan to take to become a nocturnal preserve. In addition to this we will highlight how you can minimize the light pollution of your homes and businesses.

Coexisting with Coyotes and other Wildlife (Guided Hike)

Join our Naturalists for an educational coyote hike in the park, where they will dispel the many myths of the misunderstood and essential animal to our ecosystem.
