You are invited to join our crew of volunteers as we pick up assorted litter in one of Calgary’s largest, most beautiful and diverse natural parks.
We meet at ‘the Weasel-Shed’ in the NW corner of the Weaselhead parking lot, (66th avenue and 37th street SW) at 10 a.m., Sunday, May 3rd. You’ll be provided with ‘litter-grabbers’, bags, and a variety of refreshments. At noon, back at the shed, we’ll celebrate over 30 years of environmental stewardship with some prize giveaways. Appropriate foot gear and a hat is recommended. It’s an all-ages event, and groups are welcomed.
