Experience the Ripple Effects Campaign

Learn more about the species of the Weaselhead and the interconnections of healthy watersheds and ways you can contribute to keeping our rivers healthy by visiting one of our interactive pop-up booths in the park this Summer:

June 6, 2026 10:00am-3:00pm: Dog Jog Table, North Glenmore Park

Come visit us at the Calgary Humane Society’s Dog Jog to learn about how you can have fun with your canine friends and support a healthy watershed!

June 27, 2026 10:00am-1:00pm: What’s in your Water

Find us down in the park along the paved trail and learn about all the life we share our watershed with! Discover aquatic invertebrates, learn about beavers and learn the actions we can take to support the health of our river and all the life that depends on it, including us!

July 19, 2026 10:00am-1:00pm: Beavers

Join us down by the river to learn about the incredible ecosystem engineers that are living right next to the Barry Erskine bridge! Discover adaptations they have to survive and how they are helping support a healthy watershed.

August 9, 2026 10am-1pm: Soil erosion and river health

Come explore how our actions on the land — from where we walk, ride, or dig — ripple outward through soil, plants, animals, and the river.
