Spring is here, summer’s ahead. It’s time to clean the Weaselhead!
Sunday, May 5th, 9:45 a.m to noon.
The Weaselhead Preservation Society’s 29th Annual Clean-up is slated for Sunday, May 5th. It’s a walk in the park! (with litter sticks.)
If you want to participate, simply reply to the Clean-Up Coordinator, Paul Finkleman pfinkleman@shaw.ca and let him know if others will be joining you.
We meet by ‘The Weasel-shed’ at the NW corner of the Weaselhead parking lot, 66th avenue and 37th street S.W. and start between 9:45 and 10:15. Come to the sign-up table as soon as you arrive, and we’ll supply you with bags, litter-grabbers and a variety of refreshing drinks and granola bars. We recommend you wear a hat and appropriate footwear. We finish at noon, at which time we will be drawing for a number of prizes.
