Join us for a beginners guide on what to look for when identifying plants! We will cover the following topics:
- How you can tell one plant is a different species to another by looking at the patterns of leaves and twigs
- Different types and shapes of leaves and flowers
- How observing the whole plant can help ID (rather than just the flowers and leaves)
- Clues from looking at where the plant is growing
- The importance of scientific drawings including a sketching activity
- Learn how to participate in the May Flower Count May 29, 2021 at the Weaselhead
