Pathways and River Cleanup 2023

Spring is here, summer’s ahead. It’s time to clean the Weaselhead!

Sunday, May 7th, 10 a.m to noon.

You are invited join our great crew of volunteers as we pick up assorted litter in one of Calgary’s largest, most beautiful and diverse natural parks. We meet at the shed in the NW corner of the Weaselhead parking lot, (66th Ave and 37th St SW) at 10 a.m., Sunday, May 7th. You’ll be provided with ‘litter-grabbers’, bags, and a variety of refreshments.

At noon, back at the shed, we’ll have some great prize giveaways, including a few $25 Co-op gift cards generously donated by Oakridge Co-op. Appropriate foot gear and a hat is recommended. It’s an all-ages event, and groups are welcomed.

If you’d like to participate, please e-mail Paul Finkleman at pastpresident@theweaselhead.com and let us know how many will be coming with you.

Thank you for helping keep our parks beautiful and healthy!
