Full Snow Moon and Owl Snowshoe

When: Sunday, February 9th, 6-9pm

Where: North Glenmore Park – Parking lot “E” by Blue Heron Picnic Site.

Join us for a guided Snowshoe/Hike in the full moon by the reservoir. Explore the world of owls in the Weaselhead, under a full moon! Discover how they fly silently, find out what an owl pellet is, and how sharp their talons are! If lucky you may just spot one or hear one!

Finish up the evening with refreshments by the outdoor fire pit.

The plan is to either snowshoe or hike based on snow conditions and participants preferences.
***Snowshoes not provided. If you do not have any you can rent from: The Norseman, MEC or UofC Outdoor Centre.

Please Bring: Snowshoes and or microspikes & Headlamp.
Will be outdoors for the duration of event, so dress for the weather.
